Our ‘no wrong door’ approach helps individuals get the right support at the right time, ensuring that no one falls through the gaps. Co-production is embedded in our philosophy, and a fundamental principle is working with Experts by Experience Leaders who use their lived experience of mental illness to help shape our services.

How we work
Getting the right help at the right time is vital. At Open Mental Health, we want to ensure that adults living in Somerset feel confident they receive the correct support, no matter what this might be. Our services include holistic wellbeing workers, 1 to 1 and group support, psychologists, mental health nurses, peer support, occupational therapists, money, benefits and housing support, older and young people specialists, eating disorder specialists, and developmental trauma specialists.
Out-of-hours crisis support
Crisis Safe Space is an out-of-hours service for adults who feel like they are struggling with their mental health. Instead of going to A&E, you can arrange a one-to-one session with a team member who is willing to listen and can help. You can refer yourself or someone you’re concerned about.
